A Brief History of GC Parish & Sons

George Christopher Parish started the removal business in the 1930’s with his father, in a Ford A Series Tilt Back Lorry, combining a coal delivery round, the local school run and the occasional local removal.

As the population of Bovingdon grew, removals became the more predominant part of his business. GC Parish & Sons is now run by his son and grandson, who endeavour to maintain and improve the family business.

We occupy a High Street location, with a fleet of modern, specialised removal pantechnicons (lorries) and custom built conventional and containerised storage warehouses.

Our staff are all fully trained and very experienced, to make the whole process, from initial contact, to completion of removal, as straightforward and hassle-free as possible.
